Your savings can help plant trees with SkyOne Federal Credit Union

Money never looked so green!
SkyOne Federal Credit Union has announced an exciting new tree planting partnership through which they will help off-set their carbon footprint and combat deforestation, all while supporting local economies and communities.
The goal? Plant 5,000 trees.
For a limited time, SkyOne Federal Credit Union will plant a tree in appreciation of each saver who opens and funds a new Money Market Deposit Account through the Raisin platform, helping Raisin customers save with purpose and give back to the environment.
Evertreen.com serves as their partner in this mission. As a pioneer in the space, Evertreen works in 12 countries and contributes toward the achievement of multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals including Climate Action, Clean Water and Sanitation, and Sustainable Cities and Communities.
Planting trees serves as a critical step in battling the global climate crisis. As natural carbon sinks, trees pull carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, helping to mitigate the impact of climate change. Plus, they provide habitats for a diverse array of animals and insects, boosting biodiversity in the process.
This mission goes beyond the environment, as these tree planting projects also offer stable employment for local farmers which, in turn, helps local communities.
This program joins a range of SkyOne’s sustainability programs that work to set them apart as a financial institution working to give back to the people and the planet.
"As a company, we have always prioritized environmental responsibility, and we are thrilled to work with Evertreen, a trailblazer in technological advancements that allow individuals worldwide to contribute to the wellbeing of our planet," said Donald Peaks, Chief Experience Officer for SkyOne Federal Credit Union.
