Communicating with Raisin UK

A man in his 50s sitting at a desk, looking at an open laptop. A white cup and saucer is on the desk.

Online scams continue to grow in complexity. Fraudsters often impersonate trusted financial brands to steal personal data or money.

To help keep your Raisin UK account secure, this page explains:

  • How Raisin UK will contact you securely
  • How Raisin UK does not make contact
  • What Raisin UK will never ask you to do
  • How to spot and report scams, such as cloned or fraudulent websites or suspicious messages

If you receive a message that seems suspicious or believe someone has accessed your account without authorisation, contact us directly as soon as you can (and never via links or numbers in unexpected messages or phone calls).

What Raisin UK will never ask you

Our customer service team will never ask for your Raisin UK Account password, verification codes or remote access to your device. We'll also never ask for payment to or from your Raisin UK Transaction Account, or payment using gift cards, cryptocurrency or via a third-party app. If you’re unsure about a request, stop the conversation and contact our Customer Service team.

Cloned websites and fake platforms

Fraudsters sometimes create fake versions of legitimate websites. Common warning signs include web addresses with small spelling changes (e.g. ‘raisin-uk.com’ instead of ‘raisin.com/en-gb/’), pop-ups or links asking for immediate transfers, and missing or invalid security certificates (look for ‘https://’ and the padlock symbol)

Be vigilant and always check the URL before proceeding. We will never ask you to log in from a different or third-party website.

Suspicious account activity

If you notice unrecognised activity — for example, a login you don’t recognise or a transaction you didn’t make — act immediately:

  • Check your Device Management section in Account details. You can see all devices recently used to access your account and their locations.
  • Change your password if you suspect any unauthorised access.
  • Contact us straight away via help@raisin.com or through your secure postbox.

Our team will review the activity, secure your account, and guide you through next steps.

How to protect yourself

Even with strong security systems in place, awareness is your best defence. Follow these simple practices to keep your account safe:

  • Keep your device software and browser up to date.
  • Don’t click on links in unexpected messages.
  • Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication.
  • Check sender addresses carefully.
  • Report any suspicious communication to help@raisin.com.

Remember...

Raisin UK will never ask you to move money to another account, request your passwords or verification codes, or communicate through unverified channels.
