Investing for Everyone – Raisin Launches ETF Portfolios in Cooperation with Vanguard

Berlin, 26 March 2018. Raisin – Europe’s leading provider for simple saving and investment solutions with more than 100,000 customers – adds ETF portfolios to its German product offering. Starting today German customers can access the new products online – and thus participate in the performance of capital markets in a diversified manner.

With the product launch Raisin enters the retail investment segment as a second pillar besides its leading savings products offering. “In addition to deposits with the best rates we now offer a compelling ETF solution. This marks another milestone in delivering on our mission to provide easy access to the best products across various asset classes.”, Dr. Tamaz Georgadze, founder and CEO of Raisin, explains. “With Vanguard and DAB BNP Paribas we have found two strong partners for our new product.”

Investors can choose between four portfolios with an equity share of 30, 50, 70 and 100 percent respectively and invest globally diversified in up to 16,000 individual securities. Vanguard, the largest provider for cost-efficient investment solutions globally, manages all ETFs and index funds in the portfolios. The portfolios come with a minimum investment amount of only EUR 2,000, periodic rebalancing and automated reinvestment of distributions.

With average total annual costs of below 0.5 percent the new product is one of the most cost-efficient portfolio solutions in the German market. “Our Raisin portfolios are the perfect alternative to costly multi-asset funds and cumbersome direct ETF investing,” says Dr. Til Rochow, Head of Investment Products at Raisin, “We make the best investment solutions accessible to everyone.”

For the launch of its investment products Raisin is working together with leading finance experts. Prof. Martin Weber, senior-professor at Mannheim University and founder of the ARERO Fund, Adam Nash, former CEO of US robo-advice pioneer Wealthfront and board member of Acorns, and fund manager and economist Al Breach advise Raisin on product development.
