Easily change your Nominated Account online
Currently, you use a Nominated Account to handle transactions to and from your Raisin Account. Previously, updating this account required printing and mailing a form to Berlin, or scanning and emailing it. Now, this cumbersome process is a thing of the past — changes can conveniently be made online, whenever you like. This modern, paperless process saves time, conserves resources, and maintains a high level of security.

Digital account statements — information when you need it
Raisin’s digital account statements offer an innovative, convenient way to monitor your savings. Get a comprehensive overview of your savings accounts with our partner banks, including details of transactions such as interest payments and tax deductions. Statements can be downloaded anytime as PDFs, individually generated for each account, whether it's a demand or fixed-term deposit.

Introducing push notifications on the Raisin app
Stay informed about your savings with push notifications from the Raisin app. Whether you're saving with a demand or fixed-term deposit, app users now receive immediate transaction notifications directly to their mobile devices.

Easy identity verification
We've simplified the process of uploading your ID documents:
Early notifications: You’ll now receive an alert three months before your passport expires. A valid passport is necessary for:
Renewing active term deposits
Opening new savings accounts
Transferring funds to and from your Raisin Account
Camera upload: Easily upload documents using your smartphone camera. Just two quick photos, one of the front and one of the back of your passport, are all that's needed.

Additional Raisin app enhancements
- Network issue alerts: Receive notifications immediately if there are network issues.
- Optimised registration: New customers benefit from a smoother, streamlined registration process. If your verification document expires shortly after completing the initial identity verification (Know Your Customer process), you can now directly upload a new document through the app.
Password recovery via email
Forgot your Raisin Account password? Resetting it is now fully digital and effortless:
Here’s how:
- Visit the login page and click on “Forgotten your password?”
- Enter your email address.
- Check your email and click the password reset link.
- Enter the verification code sent to your mobile device.
- Set your new password.
Note: Entering an incorrect verification code three times in a row temporarily locks password recovery. You can retry after 15 minutes.
Enhanced security with verification codes
Your account security is our top priority. We've upgraded our two-factor authentication process:
Regular verification checks: Every 180 days upon your next login, we'll automatically send you a verification code via text message to the mobile number registered to your account. You’ll need to enter this code when logging in to your Raisin Account.
- One-time verification code: This unique code authenticates your online transactions and prevents unauthorised access.
Simplified identification process
In addition to video identification, we've introduced self-identification:
Self-identification: Verify your identity anytime within the Raisin app without speaking to customer service. This seamless registration experience is powered by our KYC partner, Fourthline.
Improved video identification: Get instant feedback within seconds in the Raisin app or on our website regarding the approval status of your IDnow verification.
