About the Bank

SimpleSave is a demand deposit account provided by Raisin Bank and offered exclusively through the Raisin platform. When you save with SimpleSave, Raisin Bank holds your funds on your behalf (in a fiduciary capacity) with an Irish bank. These deposits are fully protected by the Irish Deposit Guarantee Scheme up to €100,000 per person, per institution. As this is a demand deposit, your money remains available for withdrawal at any time. Further details and terms are available in our product information sheet.

Deposit Guarantee Scheme

Deposits held for eligible clients, including accrued interest income, are protected by the Irish Deposit Guarantee Scheme (DGS) up to an amount of €100,000.00 per customer and per credit institution. Within the European Union, the minimum requirements are harmonized in all member states by Directives 94/19/EC, 2009/14/EC and 2014/49/EU. It should be noted that this protection is limited to a maximum of €100,000 of a customer's total deposits with a single credit institution. For further information about the compensation provided by the DGS, please refer to the official website at www.depositguarantee.ie

Raisin's role

With Raisin, one login gives you access to competitive savings accounts from banks across Europe, allowing your savings to work even harder. No fees, no paperwork: saving with Raisin is online and hassle-free.

All interest rates displayed are Annual Equivalent Rates (AER), unless otherwise explicitly indicated. The AER illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded once a year. This allows individuals to compare more easily what return they can expect from their savings over time. Raisin Bank, trading as Raisin, is authorised/licensed or registered by BaFin (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) in Germany and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland for conduct of business rules.
