Deposit Guarantee Scheme

In accordance with EU Directive 2014/49/EU on deposit guarantee schemes, your savings – including interest accrued but not yet credited – are guaranteed by the Maltese statutory Deposit Guarantee Scheme up to €100,000 per depositor per bank (please bear this in mind if you hold additional funds with the same bank outside Raisin). Repayment will be made in euro. The repayable amount will be made available to the depositor within seven working days from the date on which the Deposit Guarantee Scheme is activated. The guarantee applies to all natural persons, regardless of whether they reside in Malta or elsewhere. The Deposit Guarantee Scheme is administered by the Malta Financial Services Authority (https://compensationschemes.org.mt/).

Raisin's role

With Raisin, one login gives you access to competitive savings accounts from banks across Europe, allowing your savings to work even harder. No fees, no paperwork: saving with Raisin is online and hassle-free.

All interest rates displayed are Annual Equivalent Rates (AER), unless otherwise explicitly indicated. The AER illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded once a year. This allows individuals to compare more easily what return they can expect from their savings over time. Raisin Bank, trading as Raisin, is authorised/licensed or registered by BaFin (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) in Germany and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland for conduct of business rules.
