Discipline, focus and long-term thinking underpin progress. On the bike and in your finances.

Discipline

Results don’t happen overnight. They depend on focus and consistency. At Team Picnic PostNL and at Raisin, discipline is central. Clear planning and considered decisions support steady progress.

Long-term thinking

Progress takes time. You don’t win the Tour de France with a single training session. Looking further ahead is also a common approach when saving over longer periods.

Small improvements add up

Improving by one percent at a time may seem marginal. Over time, those small steps can add up. A small difference in interest, applied year after year, can become more noticeable over the long term.

Thinking beyond borders

Cycling is deeply rooted in Europe’s cultural heritage and brings people together across countries. In a similar way, Raisin enables access to savings accounts across borders.

With one account, savers can view interest rates and savings options from banks across Europe.

Eoghan O'Hara, Country Head Ireland, said:

"Through our sponsorship of Team Picnic PostNL, Raisin supports riders who share our belief in long-term thinking. Mia Griffin and Dillon Corkery are part of a new generation of Irish cyclists who understand that progress is earned over time. Their careers are built on discipline, smart decisions and consistency, not shortcuts or hype.

That approach reflects how Raisin helps people grow their savings across borders, steadily, deliberately and with an eye on the future. By backing Mia and Dillon at Picnic PostNL, we are backing potential and resilience and the idea that meaningful results come from patience and staying the course."

The discipline of winning with Mia Griffin

For Irish Olympian and Team Picnic PostNL pro Mia Griffin, success comes down to a simple rule: doing the small things right, every single day. Whether it's getting her fuelling right or training when she’d rather be anywhere else, that "no option" mindset is what gets results.

Dillon Corkery: Why showing up is half the battle

We all know those grey Irish mornings when the last thing you want to do is head out the door. For Dillon Corkery, that is exactly when the real progress happens. Dillon calls it the "Warrior Mentality." It’s the grit to stay the course even when the weather is not on your side.

About Raisin

Raisin is the world’s largest savings platform. Founded in 2012, Raisin connects savers with banks across Europe and the United States, offering access to a range of savings accounts and interest rates.

Progress, built step by step

Whether you’re training for competition or saving over time, discipline, focus and long-term thinking play a role. See how Raisin gives access to savings accounts from banks across Europe.
Compare savings rates with Raisin

All interest rates displayed are Annual Equivalent Rates (AER), unless otherwise explicitly indicated. The AER illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded once a year. This allows individuals to compare more easily what return they can expect from their savings over time. Raisin Bank, trading as Raisin, is authorised/licensed or registered by BaFin (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) in Germany and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland for conduct of business rules.
